Hey there! I’m Lauren Ellingboe, an Iowa born and raised hairstylist with a love for effortless, natural beauty. I’ve been behind the chair for three and a half years, creating hair that feels as good as it looks. For the past two and a half years, I’ve been a stylist at Amara, refining my craft and building connections with my incredible clients. Beyond the salon, you’ll find me baking sourdough, tending to my garden, or finding the best food spots. I love anything homemade and delicious. I’m getting married in June and share my home with four cats and twelve chickens (yes, it's a full house!). When you sit in my chair, expect more than just great hair! You’ll get an experience tailored to you. I specialize in lived-in color, dimensional blondes, and Aqua hand-tied extensions, creating effortless looks that grow out beautifully. My goal is to make sure you leave feeling confident, refreshed, and completely yourself. I’m also all about pricing transparency. I believe you should always know what to expect when booking with me. No surprises, just clear, upfront pricing and open communication to ensure you feel confident in your investment. While I love crafting soft, natural-looking styles, I do not offer above-the-chin haircuts, clipper cuts, or barbering techniques. CANCELLATION POLICY

I understand that life happens, but out of respect for my time and other clients, please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations are subject to a 30% charge of the booked service. A deposit is required for all clients, and no-shows will result in the loss of the deposit. Thank you for valuing my time and respecting this policy. Late Arrival Policy: To ensure a smooth experience for all clients, appointments running more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled. A $50 fee will be required before rebooking. If this happens three times, I will kindly decline future appointments. Thank you for your understanding and for respecting my time. Redo Policy: I want you to love your hair. If you have any concerns, please reach out within one week of your appointment. You have up to two weeks to return for a complimentary adjustment. Adjustments apply only to technical issues, not changes of mind regarding color or style. Any additional modifications beyond the original service will be charged accordingly.
